Charles Wayne “C.W.” Flory also known by “Wayne” or “Dutch,” died Thursday, June 13, 2013. He was born at Sawyer Kansas on January 15, 1920 to Charles and Esther (Hull) Flory.
Wayne was a veteran of World War II serving in the US Army Air Forces from 1943 to 1946. Wayne was a Jeep dealer in the Medicine Lodge and Pratt area until moving in 1968 to Mesa, Arizona where he worked in the Recreational Vehicle field eventually owning his own dealership. Upon retirement, he and Helen moved to Lake Montezuma, Arizona and later to Phoenix, Arizona before coming to Salina in 2006.
Wayne was preceded in death by his wife of 65 years Helen (Ferrin) Flory in 2008. He is survived by daughter Ann Johnson (Bob Nyberg) of Queen Creek, Arizona; sons Joe Flory of Pueblo West, Colorado, Curt (Diana) Flory of San Diego, California, Don Flory of Albuquerque, New Mexico and Mike (Phyllis) Flory of Salina, Kansas; one grandson Christopher (Morgan) Tomassian, special nephew Garry (Terry) Hess of Joplin, Missouri and numerous other nieces and nephews. Wayne will be remembered for his quick wit and sense of humor.
Cremation has been chosen. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to Hospice of Salina in care of Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.

Bonifred A. “Bonnie” Zuercher, 88, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, June 18th, at Holiday Resort.
Bonnie was born in Furley, Kansas on September 21, 1924, daughter of the late Beatrice (Atkinson) and Ted Merrill.
Survivors include two sons Kent Zuercher (Nancy), of Salina, Kansas; Allen Zuercher, of Branson, Missouri; brother, Charles Merrill (Gin) of Wichita, Kansas; sister, Judy LaGreca; Grandchildren, Jeff Zuercher, Jenni Davis, Brian Zuercher, Gretchen Ludwig, Megan Gordon, Grant Zuercher; and 16 great grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Duane Zuercher; and sister, Marge Merrill
Cremation has been chosen and a family graveside will be held at a later date.

Robert Joseph Falta, 90, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Wednesday, June 19th, at Holiday Resort.
Robert was born in Cincinnati, Ohio on March 14, 1923, a son of the late Selma (Gross) and Joseph Falta.
On November 11, 1943, Robert married Helen (Heck) Falta.
He was a radio operator in the US Army Air Corps during World War II.
He graduated from the Southern College Optometry School in 1952 and practiced in Salina for more than 40 years.
Survivors include his wife; two daughters, Susan Gearhart, of Salina and Barbara Falta, of Tacoma, Washington; two brothers, Bill (Nancy) Falta of Jacksonville, Florida and Richard (Joan) Falta of Waco, Texas; sister Betty Falta of Blackburg, Virgina; 5 grandchildren; and 2 great-grandchildren.
Cremation has been chosen and a memorial service will be held at a later date.

William S. “Bill” Bell, 54, Minneapolis, passed away Tuesday, June 18, 2013 at Kay Pogue Hospice in Salina. Bill was born June 6, 1959 in Salina to James and Terri (Fisher) Bell.
He was a 1977 graduate of Bennington High School. Bill also attended the Salina Area Vo-Tech Auto Body program. He was a longtime truck driver. Bill was a fun loving and compassionate person who put other’s needs before his own. He accepted the diagnosis with cancer with courage and faith – he didn’t let it get his spirits down.
Bill was preceded by his parents and an infant sister, Therisa Lee Bell.
Survivors include his wife(as Bill said it, the love of his life) Joyce (Stanley) Davis; son Shelby Davis and his wife JoAnn; daughters Tere Deckard and her husband Chad and Traci Patrick and her husband Greg; brothers James Bell, Jr. and his wife Melissa Babb, Steven Bell and his wife Karen, Jon Bell and his wife Mylee, Andrew Bell and his wife Chris; sister Vickie Cramer and her husband Rocky; brothers-in-law Ed Stanley and his wife Christel, Harry Stanley and his wife Virginia, Russell Stanley and his wife Kim; sister-in-law Ruthie Copple and her husband Gary; grandchildren Tanner and Jordyn Davis, Mason Deckard, and Chloe, Emmalyn, Sage, and Hudson Patrick; and dozens of nieces, nephews, friends, and relatives.
A Celebration of Bill’s life will be at 2:00 P.M, Saturday, June 22 at the Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis. Please wear your blue jeans and have a smile on your face. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Minneapolis Free Methodist Church.
