Frankie Leon Parker, 80, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Tuesday, December 3rd, peacefully, at Pinnacle Park Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, Kansas.
Frankie was born in Salina, Kansas on March 8, 1933, son of the late Ella (Smith) and Tom Parker.
He worked as a Postal Worker for many of years.
Survivors include Sister, JoAnn Bess and husband Earle, of Indianapolis, Indiana; Brother, Donald T Parker, of Lyons, Kansas; Dearest friend, Betty Aills, of Salina, Kansas. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Frankie is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Thomas Parker and George Parker; and his two sisters Marjorie Turner and Gloria Warner.
At the family’s request there will be no visitation as cremation has been chosen.
A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Monday, December 9, 2013 at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home.

Patsy Dianne Davis, 70, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Thursday, November 28, 2013.
Patsy was born in Bell, California on July 5, 1943, to the late Norma Lucille (Hiatt) and Segal Otis Davis. She was a graduate of Bell High School.
She worked as a dietary aid at Presbyterian Manor in Salina for 15 years and was a member of First Southern Baptist Church Salina, Kansas.
Survivors include her brothers, Rodney (Joan) Davis, of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, Perry (Carol) Davis, of Carson City, Nevada, and Jack (Beckie) Davis, of Salina; sister, Nancy (George) Reyes, of Apple Valley, California; as well as 14 nieces and nephews; 38 great nieces and nephews; and 2 great great nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents.
Patsy loved the Lord very much. She had a heart of gold. She may not have had any kids but all her nieces and nephews were like her kids. She absolutely loved people.
Visitation will be Friday, December 6th, from 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, Salina.
A funeral service will be held at First Southern Baptist Church, at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 7th, with Rev. Mike Murray officiating. Burial will follow at Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina, Kansas.
