Mary L. Gibson, 73, passed away Wednesday December 11, 2013 at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center in Hutchinson, KS. On December 10, 1940, Mary was born on a farm in rural Overbrook, KS, to the late Eldon and Amanda (Margerflisch) Hulce. She was united in marriage to Robert Gibson in July of 1975. Mary was very active in the First Free Methodist Church.
Survivors include her husband Bob of the home, daughter Becky and Mike Ratliff of Ottowa, KS, son Tracy and Pam Gibson of Manhattan, KS, daughter, Anne Kennedy of Lawrence, KS and son, Kelly and Bonnie Gibson of McPherson, KS, nine grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren. Brothers, Fred Hulce, Earl Hulce, and John Hulce and sister, Lyla Fox.
Preceeding her in death are her parents, a daughter, Penny Reeves-Burhle, son Samuel Reeves-Burhle and sister Cora Bender.
Service will be 2:00 pm, Monday, December 16, 2013 along with visitation 4:00-8:00 pm, Sunday, December 15, 2013, all at Ryan Mortuary in Salina.

Meta M. Pistora, 94, of Salina, died Thursday, Dec. 12, 2013. God gave the gift of life to Meta Marie Thersa Pistora on Sept. 12, 1919, at home on a farm west of Westfall. She was God’s gift to her parents, Wilhelm and Agnes (Panzer) Trapp.
Meta was united in marriage to Benjamin F. Pistora on May 7, 1939, at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church in Westfall. They were married for 47 years before he passed away in 1986. Ben and Meta moved to Salina in 1959, where she lived until her Lord called her home. Meta was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Salina.
She was preceded in death by her husband; son-in-law, Bob Jordan; parents; two sisters; and four brothers.
Their union was blessed with three children, Terry Leon (Peg) Pistora, Sharell Elaine Pistora Jordan and Bennett René (Steve) Pistora Judson; five grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. today, with the family greeting visitors from 6-8 p.m. at Ryan Mortuary. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Salina, with burial in St. Paul’s Lutheran Cemetery in Westfall.
