Hideko “Micki” Cederberg, age 78, of Salina, passed away Wednesday, January 9, 2013. She was born September 25, 1934 in Kyoto, Japan, the daughter of Torakichi and Masae (Fukunosuke) Kitano.
Micki was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne E. Cederberg, in 2005, and three brothers and one sister. Survivors include two daughters, Cathy Holzworth and husband Kim, of Salina and Mary Ann Cederberg, of Dallas, TX; three grandchildren, Kyle Holzworth, of Long Beach, CA, Amanda Shepherd and husband John and Carissa Holzworth, all of Kearns, UT; a sister, Emiko Kitano, of Osaka, Japan; a brother, Takeshi Kitano, of Osaka, Japan; a sister-in-law, Maurita Cederberg, of Luray and five nieces and nephews, Kyle Cederberg and wife Chris, Kevin Cederberg and wife Marilyn, Kara Cain, Kalven Cederberg and wife Brenda and Nami Kitano.
Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, January 13, 2013 at Ryan Mortuary. Private family inurnment will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery at a later date.
