Sherry A. Moser, 81 of Abilene passed away Saturday, December 2, 2017 at Village Manor Nursing Home. She was born April 22, 1936 in Cherokee, Oklahoma the daughter of Ben E. and Marjorie (Kline) Davis. She was united in marriage to Loyd Coulter in 1953 in Alva, Oklahoma and to this marriage three children were born, Neal, Tony, and Jeanna. Loyd preceded her in death in 1966. She married Bill Moser, later divorcing, from this marriage two daughters were born, Jill and Jody. Sherry had a longtime companion for over twenty years, Gary Seaman. He preceded her in death December 5, 2005.
Sherry is survived by her children: Neal Coulter of Yates Center, Tony Coulter (Rhonda) of Cheney, Washington, Jeanna Pohlman (Kevin) of Solomon, Jill Duhr (Craig) of Kansas City, Kansas and Jody Moser of Abilene. Brothers: Bill Davis (JoAnn) of Almagordo, New Mexico, and Jim Davis (Sandy) of Waco, Texas. One Sister: Karen Coulter (Leon) of Helena, Oklahoma. Ten grandchildren: Lyle Coulter, Jessica & Josh Shirack, Austin & Dalton Garver, Jordan Swarts, Dustin, Derrek, & Colton Duhr & Kirsten Gorges as well as 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, late husband Loyd Coulter, brother Jerry Davis of Arlington, Texas, and late companion Gary Seaman.
She chose cremation and no memorial service. Visitation for Sherry will be Thursday evening from 6 – 7:00 P.M. at Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home in Abilene. The family suggests memorials be given to the Hospice of Dickinson County, memorials may be dropped off or mailed to Martin-Becker-Carlson Funeral Home, 414 NW Third St., Abilene, Kansas 67410.
