Lillian Maude Frances Campbell, 98, passed away Saturday, January 13, 2018 in Ellsworth. She was born February 21, 1919 in Ellsworth to William C. and Helena M. (Schwerdtfeger) Choitz.
Lillian was a lifetime resident of Ellsworth County where she waited tables and was a cook at the Good Samaritan Home and the White House Hotel. She married Ben E. Koralek in Hutchinson on May 19, 1939. He preceded her in death in 1986. She then married Robert Campbell in Ellsworth on May 21, 1994. He preceded her in death in 1997. Lillian was a lifetime member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church of Ellsworth as well as a longtime Sunday school teacher and active member of the Ladies’ Aide organization.
Lillian is survived by her sons, David Koralek (Marjorie) and Chant Koralek of Ellsworth; daughter, Lonnie Soukup (Donald) of Ellsworth; son, Tim Null (Carla) of Lyons; step-son, Warren Campbell (Lena) of Ellsworth; grandchildren, David Koralek Jr. (Brenda), Tammy Kruse (Dan), Melissa Schneider (Randy), Machelle Koralek, Chad Koralek (Coleen), Rebecca Koralek, Luke Soukup (Amber), Tyler Soukup (Lana), Andy Null, Erin Pinson (Chad), Jody Dressor, and Brian Wilkinson; many great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; many loving nieces and nephews; and daughter-in-law, Patti Wilkinson of Washington state. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ben; husband, Robert; son, Charles Stowell; grandson, Robert Koralek; daughter-in-law, Gladys Koralek; and six sisters and two brothers.
Memorial service: 11:00 a.m., Thursday, January 18, 2018 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Ellsworth. A private family inurnment will take place.
