Pauline L. Pauley, 100, of Council Grove died Tuesday, January 16th, 2018, at
the Morris County Hospital. She was born on March 18th, 1917, in Council Grove,
the daughter of Joseph and Mary (Eisenhauer) Buckman.
Funeral services will be held Friday at 10:00 AM, January 18th, 2018, at the
Zeiner Funeral Home, with Rev. Theodore Khin officiating; burial will
follow at the Sunset Hill Cemetery in Herington.
Mrs. Pauley worked as an upholsterer for Beechcraft in Salina for many years,
as well as Fort Riley. She enjoyed collecting porcelain dolls, crocheting and
attending church.
She married Charles L. Pauley on June 4, 1935, at the St. John’s Rectory in
Herington. She is survived by two (2) sons: Byron Pauley (wife-Shiryl) of
Woodbine, and Floyd Pauley (wife-Gisela) of Manhattan; a brother Robert
Jean Buckman and a sister Margret Crane; five (5) grandchildren: Mike Pauley
(wife-Vickie), Bruce Pauley (wife-Kathy), Paul Pauley (wife-Katy),
Angela Barten (husband-Neal), Robyn Bordewick (husband-Kelly);
13 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her husband Charles Pauley, one brother
(Marion Buckman) two (2) sisters (Joann Siler & Rose Snyder)
and her parents.
