Charles Olin “Chuck” Kittrell, Jr., 57, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018. He was born September 12, 1960, in Topeka Kansas, the son of Charles Kittrell, Sr and Marjorie “Marg” Ausherman Kittrell. In 1978 he graduated from Topeka High. Chuck has worked for the United States Postal Service since 1990 and in 1992 he married Elizabeth Young. He was a lifelong Jayhawks, KC Royals, and Chiefs fan. Chuck also enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by his son, Curtis Orth (Shea); grandchildren, Isla, Fenton and one baby due in May.
Chuck was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Elizabeth Young Kittrell; and sister, Julie.
Memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, January 29, 2018, at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth St., Salina. Memorial contributions may be made to the Chuck Kittrell Jr. Grandchildren’s Educational Fund, in care of the mortuary.
