Janet Marie Wise, 65, of Salina, passed away Thursday, February 15, 2018. She was born November 27, 1952 in Princeton, Illinois.
Janet was an active member of the First Covenant Church in Salina for the past twenty years. She was involved in “Women of the World”, an interdenominational Bible study. She was also a member of the First Covenant Church prayer team and participated in Mothers’ Hour. Janet was a former Auxiliary member of the Gideon’s International.
She worked as a Secretary for the Pulmonary Disease Clinic in Baton Rouge, LA for 7 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; Wayne and Margaret (Adams) Burrell.
Survivors include her husband of 47 years; Steven Wise; sisters, Peggy Lundeen (Leo) of Tiskilwa, IL and Wanda Rahn (Ed) of Geneseo, IL., Aunt, Dee Burrell of Spring Valley, IL and Uncle, Charles Markee of Tiskilwa, Illinois. She has many nephews, nieces and cousins in the Geneseo, Princeton and Spring Valley, IL. communities.
Visitation is scheduled for Monday, February 19, 2018 2-7 at Roselawn Heights Memorial Heights, 1920 E. Crawford, Salina with the family present from 5 to 7.
Funeral services will be held, 11:00 am, Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at 1st Covenant Church, 2625 E. Magnolia, Salina, KS.
