Ami Lynn (Bryson) Trout, 33, of Longmont, CO, and formerly of McPherson, KS, passed away unexpectedly on February 19th, 2018, surrounded by her family after a long illness. Ami was born August 22, 1984, to Mike and Lynn Bryson of McPherson. They survive. She also leaves behind her husband, Roger Trout, and three children, Kylie Trout, Ashton Trout, and Samantha Trout, all of the home. Other survivors include: siblings, Christina Whitfield and husband, Ed, of McPherson, KS, Katrina Bray and husband, Andrew, of Kentucky, Justin Bryson of McPherson, KS, and Troy Bryson and wife, Jordan, of Colorado.
Ami’s wishes were to be cremated, and a portion of her ashes will be shared with her family and the remainder used in planting a memorial tree. The family will hold a private memorial service at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be given to the Ami Trout Memorial Fund in care of Stockham Family Funeral Home, 205 North Chestnut, McPherson, KS 67460.
