Michael K. Roush

Michael K. Roush, 45, passed away Thursday, February 22nd in Salina. He was born August 24, 1972 in Phoenix, Arizona, the son of Ken and Julie (Clark) Roush. Growing up in Phoenix, Michael attended local schools and entered the Job Corps in Guthrie, Oklahoma. He had been a long time resident of Abilene and an avid motorcycle enthusiast. Michael had an amazing sense of humor and always had everybody around him smiling. He loved riding his Harley and had just returned home from a two month trip to Arizona on it. Michael was a member of the American Legion Riders.
He is survived by: his Mother, Julie Connet of Abilene; sister, Kathy (Mike) Odle of Abilene; fiancé, Constance Tillett of Salina; favorite nephews Royce and Kenneth Harold; favorite niece Kaitlyn (Darren) Brannon; great-nephew, Mykel and great-niece, Zoey. Michael was preceded in death by his dad.
Michael was an amazing man and true blessing to all who knew him. The outpouring of love and prayers to us, his family, by those who knew him is a prime example of Michael’s loving heart.
Graveside services will be held 10:30 AM Saturday, March 3rd, at the Woodbine Cemetery with Rev. Jonathan Wenger officiating. The family will receive friends 5:30 – 6:30 PM Friday, March 2nd, at the Danner Funeral Home. The family suggests memorial contributions in his name be made to the Toys for Tots charity that Michael was very proactive in. They may be left at or sent in care of the Danner Funeral Home POB 758 Abilene, Kansas 67410.
