Noel was born on March 29, 1934 in Clay Center, the son of David and Jennie (Cowing)Carlson. Noel grew up in Clay Center, graduating from CCCHS in 1953. He served in the USMC, from 1953-1955 and 1957-1960, during the Korean War. When he returned to Clay Center, he went to work for KDOT as a truck driver until his retirement in 1985. Noel married Elizabeth Fee on October 19, 1973 and she survives. He was preceded in death by 3 brothers, Fred Carlson, Floyd Carlson and Eugene Regester and 2 sisters, Marion Sandberg, Grace Lomas and Luella Smith.

There will be no visitation and Private Graveside Services will be at a later date.
