Linda Kay Oard, 72, of Salina, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018. She was born in Manhattan to Paul and Edra (Roles) Moody.
Linda and her high school sweetheart, Terry Oard, were married in 1966 in Wakefield and moved to Salina a year later. Linda worked in cosmetology and interior design. In 1988 the family opened Oard Auto and Truck Repair where Linda did the bookkeeping. Outside of work, Linda enjoyed sewing, wheat weaving, and loved spending time with her grandchildren.
Linda is survived by: her husband, Terry of 51 years; children, Jeff Oard (Michele) of Salina, Amy Jacobs of El Dorado, and Libby Harding (Rod) of Salina; grandchildren, Amanda Koerperich (Brennon), Alicia Oard, Tyler and Jacob Harding, and Nathan and Zachary Jacobs; great-grandson, Oliver Koerperich; and sister, Mayme Easton.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. Sunday, March 11, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Monday, March 12, at Central Baptist Church, Salina, with burial in Highland Cemetery.
Memorials to: Tammy Walker Cancer Center, or Salina Animal Shelter.
