Jason Frederick Chesbro, 40, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Monday, March 5th.
Jason was born in McCook, Nebraska on July 30, 1977, a son of Shirlon Ardell (Nelson) and the late Frederick Cleveland Chesbro.
He worked as a Welding Forman at Great Plains of Salina. He enjoyed fishing, building car stereo units, and being close to his family and friends. Jason was part of a program that trained service dogs and refurbished bicycles for children with special needs.
Survivors include his mother, Shirlon Chesbro, of Salina; daughter, Destiny Boone (Wesley Rhodes) , of Holbrook, Nebraska; brother, Bryan Chesbro (Missy), of Marquette, Kansas; grandmother, Edith Jolls of Salina, Kansas; and nieces and nephews, Alex Chesbro (Mika Hopp), Brylly (Trhyston) Bishoph, and Nyquole Chesbro; and great nephew, Jupiter Bishoph.
He is preceded in death by his father, Frederick Chesbro; grandfathers, Lonny Nelson, Lawrence Jolls, and Floyd Chesbro; grandmother, Shirley Nelson, and nephew, Anthony Scott Chesbro.
No services are planned at this time.
