Betty Ann Turner

Betty Ann Turner, 73, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Thursday, March 15th.

She was born in North Branch, Kansas on October 24, 1944, a daughter of the late Ethel (Hoard) and Albert Sharp.

Betty worked as a Scrub Tech. for the Obstetrics department at Salina Regional Health Center for 14 years. She attended the First Church of the Nazarene.

She married Kenneth Turner on October 7, 1962 at the Christian Church in Beloit, Kansas. He preceded her in death. She is also preceded in death by two great grandsons, Justin Winter Jr., and Jeremiah Aiden Jayce Neal.

Survivors include a son, Gary Turner (Sheila), of Smolan, Kansas; daughter, Nancy Neal, of Salina, Kansas; brother, John Sharp (Sharon) of Phoenix, Arizona; sister Martha Thomas of Gainesville, Florida; Grandchildren, Justin Winter of Phoenix, Arizona, and Andrea Winter of Salina, Kansas; and great grandchildren, Joshua Neal, Samuel Winter, and Heidi Winter.

Visitation will be at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio St., Salina, Kansas, on Monday, March 19th, from 1:00 to 7:00 PM with the family receiving friends from 5:00 to 7:00 PM.

Funeral service will be at 10:00 AM, Tuesday, March 20th at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, Salina, Kansas, with Pastor Ron Olson officiating.

Burial will follow at Oakland Union Cemetery in Miltonvale, Kansas.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to Hospice of Salina, or Hedville Ladies Club, sent in care of the funeral home.
