Evan Collin Ward 17, Salina, passed away Thursday, March 15, 2018. He was born Sept. 12, 2000, in Salina to Jeff and Rhonda (Haffner) Ward. Evan was a junior at Sacred Heart High School, where he was on the Scholar’s Bowl, SHHS bowling and baseball teams. He loved cars, dogs, baseball, and making people laugh.
He is survived by his parents; sister, Kelli; grandparents, Jim and Eleanor Ward; grandfather, Tom Haffner; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Evan was preceded in death by his grandmother, Janice Haffner.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday March 20, at St. Mary Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, with burial in the All Saints Cemetery, Salina. Vigil services will be at 7 p.m. Monday evening at St. Mary’s Church.
Memorials are suggested to Sacred Heart Jr.-Sr. High, in care of Ryan Mortuary, Salina.
