Larry L. Knox, 83, Salina, passed away Saturday, March 17, 2018 at his home. He was born February 24, 1935 in Lincoln to Emory and Hattie M. (Clark) Knox.
Larry and Ethel Base were united in marriage on October 30, 1955. He was a barber for 18 years before becoming an insurance agent for Farmers Insurance Group. He and Ethel were the founding pastors of Faith Word Fellowship Church in Salina.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ethel; son-in-law, Blaine Cleveland; and brother, Dale Knox.
Survivors are his daughters, Deb Burt (Norman), Penny Monroe (Mike), and Bev Cleveland; sister, Sharon Knox; sister-in-law, Renata Knox; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Memorial services will be at 2:00 P.M., Saturday, March 24 at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis. A time of visiting and fellowship will be at Faith Word Fellowship, 1019 N. Ninth St., Salina, following the services. Burial was in Culver Union Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Faith Word Fellowship Church or the Salina Rescue Mission and may be left in care of Wilson Family Funeral Home, P.O. Box 166, Minneapolis, KS 67467.
