Alberta Hofmann, 95 died March 25, 2018 in Clay Center, KS. She was born on May 21, 1922 in Riley County, KS, the daughter of Albert and Selma (Sylvester) Nitsche. Alberta was raised in Riley County and graduated from Riley High School. She married Warren Hofmann on November 16, 1944. They made their home on the farm before moving to Clay Center in 1981. Warren preceded her in death on October 4, 2006. She was a former member of the Ebenezer United Methodist Church and a current member of the Clay Center United Methodist Church. She was also preceded in death by her parents and an infant daughter

Survivors:

Daughter: Linda and husband Tom Evert, Parker, CO

Son: Galen and wife Nancy Hofmann, Leonardville, KS

Son: Rodney and wife Kim Hofmann, Clay Center, KS

Sister: Mildred and husband Harold Fehman, Wakefield, KS

6 Grandchildren and 11 Great-grandchildren

Funeral Services: 10:30 AM Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the United Methodist Church, Clay Center, KS

Burial: Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas

Visitation: 3-8 PM, Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 4-6 PM

Memorials: United Methodist Church or Meadowlark Hospice c/o the funeral home
