Hannelore Elizabeth Jennings, 76, of Salina, passed away Friday, May 30, 2014. She was born Jan. 5, 1938, in Tierr, Germany, the daughter of Anton Rzeznik and Katherina Lambert. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen. She is survived by: her daughter, Stephanie (Perry) Stamm, of O’Fallon, Mo.; her son, Norman “Butch”(Jennifer) Jennings, of Salina; grandchildren, April and Robert (Stephanie), and Kelsey, Alivia, Reis and Katelee (Norman); and a sister, Crystal, of Germany.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, at Sunrise Presbyterian Church, Salina. Burial will be at Roselawn Cemetery.
Visitation will be from noon-8 p.m. Tuesday, June 3, with the family receiving friends from 5-8 p.m., at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401.
Memorials are suggested to Salina Presbyterian Manor, in care of the funeral home.

Stephen Bradley Edwards, 65, was born June 23, 1948, in El Dorado, Kan., the oldest child of Joyce (Baker) Edwards and Fred Edwards.
He is survived by: his wife, Glenda (Potts) Edwards; his two daughters, Jennifer Edwards-Hallock and Jill (Edwards) Alter (Brian); four grandchildren, Elijah, Alana, Aiden and Keegan; mother, Joyce; sisters, LeeAnn Sparks (Rodger) and Cinda Leck (Chuck); and his beloved dogs, Maggie, Millie and Suzie.
He is preceded in death by: two brothers, Ricky and Carey Ray; and his father, Fred. He worked for Haworth Construction from 1972 to present. He was planning on retiring today, June 1. Stephen served in the U.S. Navy from 1969 to 1972. Steve had a great passion for the outdoors. He spent many weekends fishing, camping, hunting and gardening. Steve passed away May 25, 2014, while doing what he loved most — fishing.
Memorial service: 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 4, at First Southern Baptist Church, 2401 S. Ohio, Salina. Inurnment: 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 4, at Marysville Cemetery, Marysville. Carl Adolph Honomichl, 39, of Salina, died Tuesday, May 27, 2014. He was born July 31, 1974, in Salina. Carl was a restaurant chef. He was a proud participant in the Salina Journal’s Chili Cook-off, being labeled the Chili King. He was a proud supporter of Autism Speaks.
Carl is survived by his wife, Juanita; son, Nathaniel; mother, Brenda Honomichl; grandmother, Bonnie Chipman; foster father, Scott Crook; stepfather, Ron Smith; and sister, Tawanna Wallace, all of Salina; and sister, Charity Latimer, of Anderson, S.C.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Monday, June 2, at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina 67401. Visitation will be before the funeral. Memorials are suggested to help with funeral expenses.

Evelyn Freta Gilmer, 88, of Salina, passed away Thursday, May 29th, at Sterling House .
Evelyn was born in Commanche, Oklahoma on June 20, 1925, a daughter of the late Meta Fay (Smith) and Thomas Massey.
Survivors include her son, Gregg Gilmer, and wife Linda, of Salina; grandchildren, Mark Davis, and Ryan Burke; as well as great grandchildren, Cooper Davis, Colt Davis, Cody Burke, and Hannah Burke.
She is preceded in death by her sister, Tommy Husler.
Cremation has been selected and no services are planned at this time.

Dianna Jean Golden, 85, Minneapolis, passed away Friday, May 30, 2014 at the Ottawa County Health Center. She was born April 24, 1929 in Topeka to William M. and Bessie J. (Pierce) Cassel.
Jean graduated from Beverly Rural High School in 1947 and she worked as a waitress in Salina. She was united in marriage with R.F. “Goldie” Golden in 1949 and they made their home in Georgia.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter Donna; sisters Martha Kidd and Noralene Blackwood; and brother Earl Cossel.
Survivors include her daughters Deborah Borum (Richard) of Phoenix, AZ and Dianna L. Golden of Edgewater, FL; sister Rachel Bell-Hudson of Minneapolis; five grandchildren Rodney Roberts, Allison Roberts, Tony Smith, Jennifer Bailey, and Carmella Borum; and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 4:30 to 6:00 P.M., Tuesday, June 3 at the Wilson Family Funeral Home 405 Argyle, Minneapolis. Burial will be in Wesley Chapel Cemetery, Villa Rica, GA. Memorials may be made to the Beverly Community Church or Good Samaritan Society – Minneapolis.
