Jewell Lavon Erichsen, 89, passed away Wednesday, March 28, 2018 in Ellsworth. She was born February 26, 1929 in Junction City to William and Carrie (Whitman) Lake.
Lavon married Alvin C. Erichsen on September 12, 1948 in Junction City. They moved to Ellsworth in 1964. Lavon was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Order of the Eastern Star #44, Daughters of the American Revolution, and Dorcas Society.
Lavon is survived by daughter, Kathleen Tresner (Leon) of Pratt; son, Chris Erichsen (Brenda) of Ellsworth; daughter, Christy Rathbun (Kendall) of Ellsworth; grandchildren, Carey Tresner, Nancy Karst, Coby Tresner, Emmylou Lillibridge, Sarah Green, Logan Erichsen, and Noah Erichsen; six great grandchildren; five nieces and one nephew. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin in 2005; and brothers, Robert and Lewis McIsaac.
Visitation: 2-6 p.m., Sunday, April 1, 2018 at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth with family present 4-6 p.m.
Funeral service: 11:00 a.m., Monday, April 2, 2018 at First Presbyterian Church, Ellsworth.
Burial: 2:30 p.m., Monday at Highland Cemetery, Junction City.
