Elmer Keith WiermanÿPPPÿQQQÿRRRÿSSSÿTTTÿUUUÿVVVÿWWWÿXXXÿYYYÿ@Elmer Keith Wierman, 84, of Minneapolis, Kansas, passed away Saturday, July 26th, at Good Samaritan Society.

Keith was born near McCracken, Kansas on the family farm, on October 12, 1929, a son of the late Margaret Loretta (McGaughey) and William James Wierman.

On Nov. 14, 1951, Keith married Wanda Judeen Snodgrass in McCracken, Kansas at St. Marys Church. He was as a Farmer/Rancher in Ness County before retireing to Minneapolis in 2008.

Survivors include his wife, Wanda Wierman; three daughters, Judy, wife of Jim Schreiber, of Hays, Kansas; Loretta, wife of Tony Basgall, of Brownell, Kansas; Anita, wife of Darin Laws, of Minneapolis, Kansas; three sons, Tom, husband of Paula Wierman, of Wichita, Kansas; Ed Wierman, of Chicago, Lawrence, husband of Elaine Wierman, of Brownell, Kansas; a brother, Francis, husband of Roberta Wierman, of McCraken, Kansas; a sister, Betty Greenway, of McCracken, Kansas; he is also survived by 20 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his son, Eugene Wierman; siblings, Gertrude Brackney, Marie Pfannenstiel, Bill Wierman, Mildred Kraisinger, Delores Clumsky, Eugene Wierman, James “Whitie” Wierman, Albert Wierman, Marge Linenberger.

A reception will be held at 6:00 pm, Monday, July 28, 2014 at Immaculate Conception Church, Minneapolis, Kansas.

A Rosary Service will be held at 7:00 pm, Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at St. Aloysius Church, Ransom, Kansas.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Aloysius Church, Ransom, Kansas, at 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 30th, with Fr. Warren Stecklein officiating.

Burial will follow at Vansburg Cemetery in Brownell, Kansas.

The family request that donations be made to Golden Wheel Senior Center114 S. Concord St, Minneapolis, Kansas 67467, Ransom Senior Center 409 S Vermont Ave., Ransom, Kansas 67572 or to the charity of your choice.

Martin Wayne Stone, 47, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Friday, July 25th, at Salina Regional Health Center in Salina, Kansas.

Martin was born in Hugoton, Kansas on June 29, 1967, a son of Frances E. (Hormel) Seely and the late Richard Dean Stone. He worked as a steel welder.

He is survived by Survived by his mother

Preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

Cremation has been chosen and a Memorial Service will be held at Gypsum Hill Cemetery on Tuesday July 29, 2014 at 10:00 am.

At the family’s request there will be no visitation
