Randy L. Sauvain

Randy L. Sauvain, 61, passed away May 13, 2018 in Ellsworth. He was born February 23, 1957 in Great Bend, KS to Merrill and Phyllis (Linquist) Sauvain.

Randy was a mapmaker in the oil and gas industry. He was an avid golfer and enjoyed deer hunting. While attending Ellsworth High School, he enjoyed sports. This passion sports carried over into his adult years.

Randy lived in New Mexico for 25 years before moving to Ellsworth in 2005. After moving to Ellsworth, he continued to go out on the road to work until he became the primary caregiver for his parents.

Randy is survived by his parents, Merrill and Phyllis Sauvain of Ellsworth; brothers, William “Bill” Sauvain or Superior, NE, Rex A. Sauvain of Salina, and Rick Sauvain (Teresa) of Ellsworth; nephew, Chad Sauvain (Tabitha) and their son, Brandon of St. Peters, MO. He was preceded in death by his sister in law, Mary Sauvain; paternal grandparents, John and Georgia Sauvain; and maternal grandparents, Joe and Nettie Linquist.

Visitation: 9-11 a.m., Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Parsons Funeral Home, Ellsworth.

Funeral service: 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 19, 2018 at Parsons Funeral Home with burial following in the Ellsworth Memorial Cemetery.
