Bobby “Bob” D. Phillips, 84, of Salina, passed away Monday, June 11, 2018. Bobby was born Dec. 2, 1933 to George and Luvena “Beanie” Phillips. He married Joanne Fountain, May 19, 1956, and they had one daughter, Jennifer.
Bob was the head mechanic for Concrete Products and later the General Manager for Sisco Equipment. He was a member of the Hill Top Trap Club. Bob enjoyed trap shooting, hunting, fishing, and raising and training champion bird dogs.
Bob was preceded in death by: his parents; wife, Joanne; daughter, Jennifer Hoffmans; and sister, Hazel Kamp.
He is survived by: his grandchildren, Rachel and Sean Hoffmans; great-grandson, Cameron Kennedy; son in-law, Kevin Hoffmans; and his cousin and care giver, Bill Burrows (Caroline).
Graveside services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, June 16, at Bennington Cemetery, Bennington. No visitation as cremation was chosen. After the services friends and family are invited to share memories of Bob at The Depot in Bennington.
