William “J” Bryan, 96, of Salina, on Monday, June 18, 2018, went to be with his Heavenly Father, his Savior Jesus Christ and the love of his life, Deloris Bryan. J was born to Kenneth and Virginia, Nov. 16, 1921 in Kanopolis.
He was a graduate of Kanopolis High School. He married Deloris Rice, June 1, 1944. They were married 67 years. He was a veteran of World War II where he was a tank instructor. He worked until his retirement for Western Star Milling Company (Gooch Feed Mill) in Salina. He was a Cowboy Western man. He was a big fan of John Wayne movies and Louis L’Amour books. He was proud to serve as a Lay Pastor for the First Free Methodist Church in Salina. Later in life he became a member of the First Nazarene Church in Salina. He loved his churches and their people.
J is survived by: his three daughters, Deanna L. Green (Lee), Brenda G. Ebel (Eric), and Vicki L. Shannon (Jim); six grandchildren, JoDee Einhaus (Kevin), Shayne Green (Heidi), Ericka Cain (Brad), Jeff Ebel (Dena), Brenda Smith (Bill), and Scott Ebel (Jennifer); 12 great-grandchildren, Emma and Jack Cain, Spencer and Eric Einhaus, Ben, Will and Jacob Ebel, Hank and Josie Ebel, Blake Green, Will and Mackinzee Smith; sister, Rachel; and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; beloved wife, Deloris; two brothers; three sisters; and numerous in-laws. We are sure there was a celebration in Heaven with them all when he arrived.
There will be a celebration of life at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 22, with Reverend Jon Fillipi officiating, at the First Church of the Nazarene, 1425 South Ohio, Salina. Inurnment will follow immediately after at Roselawn Memorial Park. VFW Post #1432 will give military honors.

Please dress casually even jeans, cowboy shirts, boots and hats will be appropriate.
