Nadine I. Campbell, of Alta Vista, died at her home on Tuesday, July 3, 2018.
Nadine (Britt) married Lowell A. Campbell in August 1959 and moved to a farm north of Council Grove near his parents, where he had grown up. Together they farmed their land and raised Hereford cattle for Iowa Beef.
Though they didn’t have children of their own, they provided endless fun, love and Christian example to all of their nieces and nephews. Their home was the place all the kids in the family wanted to spend time.
Nadine was valedictorian of her class, a long time Sunday School teacher and graduate of a four year Bible course. She was 90 years old June 1st and still doing her taxes, paying bills and living on her beloved farm. She had a beautiful life on earth and now in heaven with her Lord and Savior.
Nadine is survived by her nieces and nephews, whom are her late sister Millie and Albert Evans and brother Ivan and Loretta Britt’s children.
A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 to 7:30 P.M., Friday, July 6, 2018, at Zeiner Funeral Home.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 A.M., Saturday, July 7th, at Greenwood Cemetery.
