Jerry D. Shorter, 67, Ellsworth, died Wednesday, July 11, 2018. He was born August 21, 1950 in Salina to Willie and Pauline J. (Kissick) Shorter.Jerry and Dee Ann Hannebaum were united in marriage on July 18, 1970. He worked for Baker Distributing for over 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Dee.
Survivors include his daughters, Christa Kurtz (Greg) and Heather Brooks (Jeff); brother Rick Shorter (Judy); five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and his special friend, Trudy Berthelson.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, July 14 at the Glendale Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. Friday at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis. Memorials are to Windsor Estates or St. Paul’s Lutheran Church.
