Garry W. Endsley passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018, at the Salina Regional Health Center at the age of 60. He was born in Kansas City, MO on April 12, 1958 to William Endsley and Karole Jean (Simmons) Hancock. On August 7, 1999 he married Tammy Whitmer at the Wilson United Methodist Church.

Garry attended school in Jewell, Kansas and graduated from Jewell High School with the class of 1976. He worked various jobs working as a lineman, was an excellent carpenter, and a computer technician. At the time of his death he was working as the head of the IT department as a Technology Support Consultant III for the Ellsworth Correctional Facility where he had been for the last 17 years. Garry was a former ECT SORT member where he was an observer sniper, chemical munitions member, and was on the honor guard. He is a member of the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Ellsworth.

Garry had a green thumb and always had a big garden. He loved camping, hunting, golfing, and playing ball with his kids. But mostly, he loved spending time with his family. His kids were everything to him. Many memories were made singing and dancing in the living room with his family.

Garry is survived by his wife Tammy Endsley of Wilson; sons Ancil and Max Endsley of Wilson, Michael Endsley and wife Jessica of Madison, WI, and Phillip Endsley and Brian of Colby; daughter Nisha Trevino and husband Shane of Stockton; mother and step-father Karole and Dave Hancock of Birch Tree, MO; brothers Ronnie Endsley and wife Deborah of Nebraska, Gene Hancock of Henderson, KY, Mark Hancock of Henderson, KY, Gary Hancock and wife Fannie of Henderson, KY; sisters Janita Mooney and husband Val of Mountain View, MO, Kelly Walton and husband Richard of Birch Tree, MO, Donna Crouch and husband Kenny of Henderson, KY, and Joda Southard and husband Tim of Cordon, KY; 3 grandchildren Zane, Zeke, and Josie; and 3 adopted grandchildren Mya, Quintin, and Aaliyah.

He is preceded in death by his beloved grandparents Ancil and Dorothy Endsley who played such a big role in his life; and his father.

Garry was greatly loved and will be missed because he was a man of value, character, and integrity who served with a giving heart and loved with an even greater heart. We celebrate the life that he lived and we mourn the years that we will be denied. He will live forever in the hearts of those who knew him best, for they were greatly loved.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 19, 2018, at 10:00 A.M. at the Immanuel Lutheran Church in Ellsworth.
