BROOKVILLE — JoAnn F. Johnson, 83, of Brookville, passed away Thursday, Oct. 16, 2014, surrounded by her loving family. JoAnn was born Aug. 17, 1931, to Howard and Viola (Lebert) Wagner.
She graduated from Brown Mackie College, Salina, with a degree in business. JoAnn later married Leland H. Johnson and became a devoted farm wife. She was a member of Brookville United Methodist Church, Brookville, Kan.
JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and great-grandson, Reed Krone. JoAnn is survived by her children, Ann (Jerry) Krone, Ralph (Brenda) Johnson, John Johnson and Amy (Cary) Wikoff; grandchildren, Josh, Adam, Lee, Lane, Paige, Payte, Colten, Darriane and Darby; and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 10 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 21, at Brookville United Methodist Church, 114 W. Anderson St., Brookville, with Pastor Eric Taylor (nephew) officiating. Burial will follow at Brookville City Cemetery. Visitation: 4-8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 20, with family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth St., Salina 67401.
