Galen H. Cassingham, 75, of Little River, passed away August 1, 2018 at Ellsworth County Medical Center. He was born August 5, 1942 in Little River, Kansas, the son of Harold Clarence and Phyllis Aileen Campbell Cassingham.
He graduated from Little River High School, with the class of 1960.
Galen has resided in Ellsworth since 2013, formerly of Enid, Oklahoma.
He was an oilfield salesman.
Galen was a member of Little River First United Methodist Church, and Masonic Cornerstone Lodge #219 of Little River.
In January 1983, Galen was united in marriage with Gloria Webb in Little River. She survives of the home.
He is also survived by his mother, Phyllis Cassingham of Little River; three sons, Terry Cassingham and wife Deana of Healdton, OK, Gerald Sipes and wife Kris of Ellsworth, KS, Steve Sipes and wife Kathy of Stafford, KS; daughters, Tamera Pearson and husband Matt of Newark, DE, Mary Munoz and husband Matt of Kanopolis, KS; ten grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 4, 2018 at First United Methodist Church, Little River with Pastor Jeff Goetzinger officiating. Burial will be at Bean Memorial Cemetery with Masonic Rites. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 11:00 A.M., Saturday, August 4, 2018 at First United Methodist Church, Little River. Memorials can be made to Galen Cassingham Memorial Fund in care of Birzer Funeral Home, Lyons.
