Gary Wayne Brockway, 73, of Salina, KS, passed away Monday, November 3rd, at Salina Regional Health Center. Gary was born in Barnard, Kansas on May 10, 1941, a son of the late Zelma (Bellows) and Archie Brockway. He worked as an inspector at Raytheon for 35 years. He was the husband of Marcia (Chartier) Brockway.
Gary is survived by his wife; a daughter, Terri Lytle and husband, of Parker, Colorado; son, Anthony Brockway, of Bennington, Kansas; two step daughters, Kathleen Smith, of Fort Collins, Colorado and Michelle Fischer, and husband Barry of Salina; two step sons Richard Hewitt and wife, Virginia of Powder Springs, Georgia and Donald Hewitt and wife Denise of Haysville, Kansas; two brothers, Laverne Brockway and wife, Joan of Salina and Charles Brockway and wife Jolene of Barnard, Kansas; six grandchildren, Jack, Sam and Luke Lytle, Kaelan, Alanna, and Rowan Brockway; many step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and sister, Joyce Earley
The family has chosen not to have visitation. Memorial Services will be at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 8, 2014 at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home.
