reg30212Jeffery Lind Regan Jr., 60, of Salina, died Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2013. He was born Dec. 30, 1952, the son of Frederick and JoAnn (Chapman) Regan. He was preceded in death by an infant son, Joshua, and a son-in-law, Sid Young.

Jeffery is survived by his wife, Louise Regan, of the home; son, Sean Regan and wife Brandy Sacco, of Topeka; daughter, Angelina Young, of Salina; two sisters, Cat Dyer and husband Allen, of Kent, Wash., and Terri Bradley and husband David, of Middleton, Ohio; and six grandchildren.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 18, 2013, at Salina Church of Christ, 1646 N. Ninth St., Salina.

Memorial contributions may be made to the church, and may be left at or sent in care of Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth St., Salina 67401.

hol30211vet_ffffffLeRoy Glen Holcom, 84, passed away on Monday, February 11. He was born March 22, 1928 to Glen and Hannah (Hesher) Holcom. LeRoy graduated from Gypsum High School.

He is survived by his wife, Beth (Saunders) of the home. 3 daughters; Joyce (Ted) WIlliams; Sheree (Dave) Spratlen of Salina, Sandy ( Jim) Lumb of Manhattan. 9 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren. Andy and Gayle Williams, Gleason, Harper, and Hampton; Joe Williams; Sam and Abby Williams, Mabel and Gus; Anne (Lumb) and Caleb Rubash and Ivan; Bonnie Lumb; Becky and Luke Schoenecker, Dawson and Kaison; Mike Griffin; Stephanie Spratlen, Whitley and Trey; Slade Spratlen and Yvonne Baker, Trevor, Emily, Brody and Brylee. Sister, Clena Green, Salina.

LeRoy and Beth were married on December 1, 1951 in Wichita Falls, TX while he was stationed in the Air Force. A veteran of the Korean War; a lifetime member of the Elks; member of the American Legion Post #1040, Lindsborg.

LeRoy was a farmer, worked for Cook’s Paint as a tile and flooring installer, and retired from the Salina County Appraiser’s Office.

Friends may pay their respect Monday, from 7-9 pm at the family home in Salina. The celebration of LeRoy’s life is at the Ryan Mortuary, Salina, Tuesday, February 19, 11am. Inurnment at the Gypsum Cemetery will be at 3pm. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to be made to the V.F.W. Ladies Aux.

Opal A. Percival, 95 died Feb. 11, 2013. She was born Oct 1, 1917 in Shady Bend, the daughter of Frank & Ruby (Galloup) Crooks. She was a cook and baker for Salina USD #305 Schools for over 25 years and an active R.S.V.P. volunteer. Opal loved quilting.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Clay Percival.

Opal is survived by her son Bob (Cindy) Percival, San Francisco, CA, and two daughters, Suzy (Larry) Yeagley, Lee’s Summit, Mo and Carol Fritz, Salina. She has 8 grandchildren, 14 great and 4 great great grandchildren.

Memorial services will be at 2:00 pm on Tuesday, Feb. 19, 2013 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Salina. Memorials are suggested to Kaye Pogue Hospice of Salina. For more information or condolences go to www.ryanmortuary.com
