Karen Maxine (Bowman) Bracy, of Salina, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2015. She was born Oct. 1, 1948, in Beloit, to parents Max and Opal “Maxine” (Maag) Bowman.
Those left to cherish precious memories of her are her mother; daughters, Christina Barlow and Kimberly Sanchez, both of Salina; siblings, Ron Bowman, of Salina, and Judy Adam (Ed), of Tipton; grandchildren, Bryant Sanchez, Casey (Brettney) Barlow, Shelby Barlow, Brianne Barlow, Isaiah Veal and Israel Barlow; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her father.
She graduated Lebanon High School in 1966. She retired from Tony’s Pizza in 2010. Karen enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling with her best friends. In her spare time she loved sewing and attending various concerts and her grandchildren’s activities.
A celebration of life will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, at Ryan Mortuary with Pastor Richard Barlow officiating. There will be no visitation.

Boyd M. Hatfield, 85, of Salina, passed away Monday, November 9, 2015. He was born January 17, 1930 in Anthony, Kansas, the son of Russell and Hazel Hatfield.
Boyd was preceded by his wife Carolyn; two sons, Steve and Mike; and one grandson, Jason Hatfield. He is survived by one daughter, Roxanne Hatfield and husband Tracy Harcrow, of Salina; two sons, Russell Hatfield and wife Natalie, of Las Vegas and Boyd W. Hatfield, of Salina; 12 grandchildren, Michael, Candice, Chad, Jesse, Bryant, Heather, Nikki, Heather, Haley, Zachary, Boyd and Braven and 15 great-grandchildren.
Cremation was chosen. There will be no services. Arrangements handled by Ryan Mortuary, Salina.

Charles J. Mauer, 80, of Salina and formerly of Topeka, passed away Friday, Nov. 13, 2015. He was born March 19, 1935, in Topeka, to John and Emma (Hefner) Mauer.
Survivors include: wife, Ruby, of the home; son, Brian Mauer; daughter, Brenda (Kyle) Sandefur; brothers, Frank and Raymond Mauer; sisters, Anna Harmes, Lavina McCall and Delores Mauer; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Predeceased by: son, Douglas; three brothers; five sisters; and a daughter-in-law.
Mass of Christian Burial: 10 a.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, at St. Mary Queen of the Universe Catholic Church, Salina. Committal service: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 18, at Mt. Calvary Catholic Cemetery, Topeka. Visitation: 4–8 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 17, at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth St., Salina 67401.

Kenneth Conrad, 83, passed away Friday, November 13, 2015 in Ellsworth. He was born January 2, 1932 in Torrington, WY to Reinhold and Ethel (Shull) Conrad.
Kenneth was a retired electronics technician working many years in radio and other media. He was a member of St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Ellsworth.
Kenneth married Margaret H. Soukup in Ellsworth. She survives him. He is also survived by close friends, Greg and Cynthia Bender of Ellsworth. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Visitation: 1-6:30 p.m., Tuesday, November 17 at Parsons Funeral Home with family present at 6:00 p.m. Vigil and rosary service will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Funeral mass: 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 18 at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church, Ellsworth with burial following.
