Rosemary Hernandez, 64, of Salina, was born in Topeka to parents, Paul and Emma Dominguez on Dec 21, 1951, left this world Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016.
She was married to husband, Catarino Kato Hernandez Jr., on July 3, 1970, then moved to Salina to raise their family.
She was preceded in death by both parents; two brothers, June and Eddie Sr.; and one sister, Mikala Dominguez.
She is survived by her husband, Catarino Kato Hernandez Jr.; two children, Catarino Kato and wife Stacey Hernandez III, of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Veronica and husband Reggie Gremmel, of Tescott; four grandchildren, Alecya Gremmel, of Hoxie, Tanner Gremmel, of Tescott, Angelena and Catarino Kato IV Hernandez, of Colorado Springs.
Rosemary worked as a lab tech, Woolco Department Store, Taco Tico and finally retiring after 25 years at Dillon’s Grocery Store.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. with a Celebration of Life at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 29, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina. Cremation will follow.

MEMBERSHIPS: He was a member of Lyons First Presbyterian Church, VFW, American Legion and the Masonic Lodge.
DATE OF MARRIAGES: On March 8, 1946, Stanley was united in marriage with Mary Bernadene Tunnell in Lyons. She preceded him in death on March 13, 1974. On January, 14, 1984, Stanley was united in marriage with Helen Click Shuttleworth in Geneseo. She survives of the home.

Hillsboro – Myrta G. Bartel, 87, died February 27, 2016 at Kidron Bethel in North Newton. She was born April 1, 1928 to Frank H. and Kathryn R. (Krause) Klassen in Newton. She married Johnnie M. Bartel January 20, 1950 in Newton, Kansas. She was a homemaker.
