Henry C. Travis, 82, of Salina, passed graciously into the hands of the Lord on Saturday, May 11, 2013. He was born Nov. 23, 1930, in Potwin, the son of John and Lydia Travis. Henry graduated from Lost Springs High School. He began working on a farm before going to work for Beach Raytheon Corporation for 42 years. He retired at age 63.
Henry was a Mason for many years and was a life member of the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers.
At age 22, he was united in marriage to Doris M. Bromley. They were married for 59 years when she preceded him in death in December of 2011. He was also preceded in death by other brothers and sisters.
Henry is survived by a sister, Loretta Miller, of Meriden; two daughters, Marsha Hunt and husband Rod, of Salina, and Debra Parra and husband Fernando, of Miami. He is also survived by two grandsons, of Miami; and two granddaughters and five great-grandchildren, all of Topeka.
Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Tuesday, May 14, with family receiving friends from 6-8 p.m. at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth St., Salina. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, May 15, 2013, in Sunset Hill Cemetery, Herington.
Memorial contributions may be made to National Parkinson’s Foundation and Alzheimer’s Association and left in care of the mortuary. Henry was very much loved and will be truly missed by his friends and family.

Harry Miller, Jr., 90, of Salina, Kansas, passed away Saturday, May 11th, at his residence.
Harry was born in Alt, Colorado on January 8, 1923, son of the late Wilma (Hobbs) and Harry Miller, Sr.
Harry graduated from Sherman County High School, where he was State Wrestling Champion.
He worked for and later purchased L.W. Rexroad and Sons Construction.
Survivors include daughter, Vicki Keehner, of Salina, Kansas; granddaughter, Kelli Lindebak of Andover, Kansas; grandson, Jarred Keehner of Salina, Kansas; great granddaughters, Karlie Lindebak and Kyrsten Lindebak, both of Andover, Kansas.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife; and 4 brothers.
A memorial service will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, May 17, 2013 at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, with Pastor Jon Filipi, officiating.
Cremation has been chosen and there will not be any visitation.
