Theresa Marie Buechel, 89, of Salina, died Monday, Dec 16, 2013. She was born June 2, 1924, in Clyde, the daughter of Eugene and Laura (Couture) Girard.

Theresa worked as office manager for Decker Grain Co., of Concordia, until she married William Buechel on Nov. 3, 1955. While living in Concordia, she was a homemaker, a member of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, and a volunteer. A volunteering highlight was serving on the Concordia Library Board from 1962 to 1970, during the construction of the Frank Carlson Library. She enjoyed gardening, quilting, traveling with family, and playing duplicate bridge. In 1984, she became a Life Master in Bridge, later advancing to Silver Life Master. She also served as a Duplicate Bridge Director. In 1999, Theresa and Bill moved to Salina. Theresa became a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. At church, and through the Salina Duplicate Bridge Clubs, Theresa made many dear friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers, Ernest and Paul; one sister, Berneice Ayres; and her husband William. Survivors include two daughters, Sarah Buechel, of Salina, and Julia (Michael) Marino, of Richland, Mich.; two brothers, Bernard (Marcia) Girard, of Solomon, and Larry (Ann) Girard, of Beloit; sister-in-law, Vera Girard, of Concordia; and two grandchildren, Chris and Kelsey Marino.

Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 20, at the Ryan Mortuary, Salina, with a vigil service at 6:30 p.m. Mass of Christian. Burial will be 10 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 21, at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, Salina, with burial at 2 p.m. in Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Concordia. Memorials: Hospice of Salina or St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church, Salina. Ryan Mortuary, Salina, is in charge.

Steven W. Stanley, 22, Abilene, died Tuesday, December 17, 2013 in Wichita, Kansas. He was born March 17, 1991 in Salina, Kansas. Steven had lived in Minneapolis, rural Dickinson County, and Abilene. He was employed by Abilene Rent-All and Sales.

Survivors include his father Karl W. Stanley and wife, Sheila of Abilene; his mother Debra Stanley of Salina; a sister Christine Pattullo of Salina; three brothers Shane W. Stanley of Oceanside, California, Seth W. Stanley and Marty B. Unruh, both of Salina; and his grandparents Ed and Christel Stanley of Milford, Kansas and Bob and Judy Tillman of Salina.

Visitation will be from 3-5 p.m. Friday, December 20, 2013 at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. 8th, Salina, Kansas. Cremation will follow the visitation. Private inurnment will be at a later date. The familysuggests memorials to the Kansas Parks & Wildlife Department.

Linda D. Brumbaugh, 70, Tescott (formerly of Ada) passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at her home. She was born December 15, 1943.

She was united in marriage with Adam Brumbaugh on July 21, 1962 and he preceded her in death on January 25, 2006. She worked for many years as a C.N.A. and ward clerk at the Ottawa County Health Center.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; and siblings Deb and Kenneth Woodruff.

Survivors include her children Marlyn, Jeff, and Scott Brumbaugh and Lorle Bolt; sister Jan McCloud; and nine grandchildren. Memorial services will be at 10:00 A.M., Monday, December 23 at the Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis. Inurnment will be in Fairview Cemetery, Ada. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Ada Community Center.
