TIPTON — Edgar Joseph Hake, 87, passed away Jan. 4, 2018. He was born July 26, 1930 to Theodore J. and Pauline (Schlenz) Hake in Tipton.
He is survived by: his wife, Alice; children, Jerry Hake (Roxie) of Beloit, Steve Hake (Joyce) of Salina, Jeanie Tremblay (Rod) of Castle Rock, Colo., Eileen Loomis (Bruce) of Macksville, Sharon Sackrider (John) of Salina, David Hake (Shannon) of Ft. Collins, Colo., Dan Hake of Tipton, LeeAnne Ankenbrandt (Stephen) of Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Judy Becker (Ken) of McPherson; siblings, Kenny Hake of Salina, Msgr. James Hake of Salina, Estelle Schuster of Beloit, Diane Palen of Salina, Joan Palen of Beloit, Darlene Streit of Salina, Elizabeth Gillette of Tipton, and Ron Hake of Arlington, Texas; 20 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by: his parents; and his sister, Mary Ellen Bongiovianni.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Jan. 8, at St. Boniface Catholic Church, Tipton. Public visitation will be 6-7 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 7, with Rosary service at 7 p.m. at the Church.
