Bio Information and memberships: Francis “Frank” Gwin Mclenahan was born December 28, 1929 in Morganville, Kansas, the second in a family of seven children parented by Robert Urie and Edna Frances (Clark) McClenahan.
He attended Clay County Community High School where he played football and drew illustrations for the Tiger Roar yearbook. He served in the U.S. Navy and graduated from Kansas Univeristy with a B.A. in Commercial Art. He practiced his artistic talents his entire life as both vocation and avocation.
During his retirement he enabled his mother to live in her Clay Center home until her life ended. His health failed soon after and Rolling Hills Assisted Living became his residence until last year when Rolling Hills Rehab and Health was required. It was there he died on February 3, 2018.
Sustaining Frank, throughout difficult challenges in his life was his deep knowledge of and faith in Jesus Christ.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents and his older sister, Bonnie Hannan

Siblings: Beth Ward, Marilyn and Dave Breicheisen, Patsy and Harold Garner, and Janice Jones, and Clark and Eula McClenahan
Numerous nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Funeral Services: will be held on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at 2:00PM at the Neill-Schwensen-Rook Funeral Home in Clay Center, Kansas
Burial: Private interment will be in Greenwood Cemetery, Clay Center, Kansas
Visitation: will be from 1:00PM until service time on Wednesday at the funeral homer.
