Allen R. Selby

Allen R. Selby, 44 of Hope passed away Monday, march 5, 2018. He was born September 30, 1973 in Emporia, Kansas the son of Loren and Violet (Kuhn) Selby. Allen grew up in the Emporia and Council Grove area. Allen was a Cook/Restaurant Manager in Council Grove, Herington and Hope. He also was a truck driver.
Allen is survived by his son, Anthony Selby of Salina. Three daughters, Kassidy Selby of Hope, Kasey Selby of Dwight, Kansas and Jeanie Marie of Springfield, Missouri. One sister, Lorri Bomberger and husband Gerald of DeKalb, Missouri and his parents, Loren and Violet Selby of Emporia. He was preceded in death by his grandparents.
A Grave Side Service for Allen will be 2:00 P.M., Friday, March 9, 2018 at Prairie View Cemetery in Alta Vista, Kansas. Visitation for Allen will be from 9-noon on Friday, March 9, 2018 at the Carlson-Becker Funeral Home in Hope. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials be given to the Allen R. Selby Memorial Fund. Memorials may be dropped off or mailed to Carlson-Becker Funeral Home, PO Box 355, Hope, Kansas 67451. , 44 of Hope passed away Monday, march 5, 2018.
