Alice Joan Ost, 89 years of age, of Mankato, Kansas, passed away Saturday, April 21, 2018 at Mitchell County Hospital Health Systems in Beloit. She was born on December 24, 1928 in Jewell, Kansas to Clarence and Bess (Ford) Meeker.
Alice is survived by son, Kelly (Sindy) Ost of Apollo Beach, FL; daughter, Holly (Brad) Borncamp of Longmont, CO; and six grandchildren.. She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Meeker, mother, Bess Pearl Meeker, husband, Darrell Dean Ost, brother, Gale Richard Meeker, brother, Loren Meeker, brother, Eugene Meeker, sister, Margaret Bennett.
will be held at Thursday, April 26, 2018 at 2:00 p.m. in the Harmony United Methodist Church, Mankato, Kansas,. Interment will be in the Mount Hope Cemetery ), Mankato. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am to 8:00 pm Wednesday, April 25, 2018 with Family greeting friends from 6:30 pm to 8:00 pm in the Melby Mortuary in Mankato.
