vet_ffffffStephen E. "Steve" MillermStephen Earl Miller, 73, of Salina, Kansas passed away Monday, July 14th, at Salina Presbyterian Manor. Stephen was born in Herington, Kansas on June 27, 1941, to the late Helen (Nely) and Harold W. Miller.

Steve worked as a Banker at Bank IV in Emporia, Kansas, he started as a banker at First Bank of Kansas. He also worked with The Salvation Army as a trustee, The Red Cross and Meals on Wheels. He was a member of the New Basel United Church of Christ, Abilene. He Graduated from Hope High School in 1959. Steve also served in the United States Army.

Steve is survived by two sisters, Lynda Kay Hassler and husband, Randy of Salina, and Barbara E. Morgan and husband, Greg, of Junction City, Kansas; nephew, Jason Hassler and his wife Darla, of Salina; and niece, Heather Williams, of Salina.

Steve is preceded in death by his parents; infant brother, Harold Miller, Jr.; and nephew, Lance Hassler.

Cremation was chosen and there will be no visitation. Private family inurnment will be held at a later date.

Memorial contributions may be made to Big Brothers & Big Sisters of Salina. Contributions may be sent in care of Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, 500 S. Ohio, Salina, Kansas 67401.

Jeanne L. Sears, 68, Salina, passed away Monday, July 14, 2014 at the Salina Regional Health Center. She was born December 12, 1945 in Salina to Ralph and Carol (Lishen) Sears.

Jeanne has been a resident at OCCK in Salina for the past 15 years.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brothers Carl and Bob Sears.

Survivors include her brother Ken (Ruth) Sears of Salina; sisters Barbara (Paul) Haley of Delphos and Pat Sears of Salina; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be at 11:00 A.M., Friday, July 18 at Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis. Visitation will be from 3 P.M. to 5 P.M. Thursday at Wilson Family Funeral Home, Minneapolis. Memorial contributions may be made to OCCK.
