COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — Opal (Owens) Crow, 96, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2015, in Colorado Springs, after a long illness.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lester E. Crow; father, Orville (C.O.) Owens; mother, Beulah Roberts Owens; and sisters, Christine Owens and Wilma Grigsby.
Survivors include: daughter, Judith White, of Fort Myers, Fla.; son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Julie Crow, of Woodland Park; five grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Opal and Lester were married in Salina, Kan., in 1938, and were married 63 years. They lived briefly in Salina, and then lived in Wichita, Kan., and Omaha, Neb., before returning to Wichita. After Lester passed away, Opal lived in Colorado Springs.
Opal was a homemaker and member of East Heights United Methodist Church, Wichita.
A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, at Roselawn Memorial Park Chapel, Salina.

Sofia Ramos, 64, of Salina, passed away Friday, Jan. 9, 2015. She was born Nov. 3, 1950, in Mesillas, Zacatecas, Mexico, to Rafael Ramos and Fransisca Rojas.
She is survived by her husband, Antonio Banda, of the home; daughters, Norma Sofia Rincon and Sonia Garcia, both of Salina, and Maria Guadalupe Banda, of Hays; siblings, Jose Ramos, Refujio Ramos, Fransisco Ramos, Elva Ramos, Rafael Ramos, Ruben Ramos and Alfredo Ramos; grandchildren, Pedro Rincon, Sonia Rodriguez, Norma Ramos-Rincon, Cynthia Garcia, Karina Rodriguez, Manuel Garcia, Eric Rincon, Antonio Rodriguez, Rafael Rodriguez, Cristian Garcia and Andres Rincon; and one great-grandchild, Julian Calderon.
She is preceded in death by her parents and daughter, Fransisca Ramos.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 13, at Sacred Heart Cathedral, Salina. Visitation will be from noon-6 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12, at Ryan Mortuary, and 6:30-8 p.m. Monday, at Sacred Heart Cathedral, with a vigil at 7 p.m.
