Richard Stanley “Dick” Endsley, 72 of Salina, passed away Monday, January 12, 2015. He was born October 3, 1942 in Mankato, Kansas, the son of Frank R. and Joyce (Layland) Endsley.
He loved river fishing with his brother Frank, walking in Sunset Park and around town, meeting and greeting friends.
Dick was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter; a sister, Marla Marie; and a brother, Dean.
Survivors include his sisters, Patricia Endsley and Mary Ellen Endsley and brothers, Frank Endsley and Michael Endsley, all of Salina; nephews, Jerry Price and Jason Endsley; nieces, Patty Price, Trisha Endsley, and Misty Vasquez; and great nephews and nieces.
There will be no visitation as cremation as taken place.
Family burial will take place at Mt. Hope Cemetery in Mankato, Kansas at a later date.
Memorials may be made in Dick’s name to the Salina Animal Shelter, in care of Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home.

Wanda (Willson) Smith, 90, of Salina was born August 25, 1924 in Parsons to Ray and Thelma Willson. She went to be with our Lord on Sunday, January 11, 2015.
Wanda is the beloved wife of William D (Bill) Smith, Salina, who were married for 68 years. She and Bill were partners in life and work. Her faith was very important to her. She was past-President of Christian Women’s Club and held various offices in the Gideon’s International.
Wanda was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. They have two children: Linda Smith Slattery (husband, Jim), Washington D.C. and Larry Smith (wife, Joy), Salina, as well as 4 grandchildren: Jason Slattery, Michael Slattery (wife, Jenny) Washington D.C., and Stephanie Smith Blake (husband Ben) and Erin Smith, Kansas City, and 4 great-grandchildren.
Wanda was preceded in death by her baby brother, Carl and brother, Dale Willson, Parsons. She is survived by her husband, Bill, and sister, Reva Johannsen, Lawrence.
The Visitation will be held at Ryan’s Mortuary on Friday, January 16, 3 to 7 p.m. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. on Saturday, January 17, at First Covenant Church and burial will follow at Gypsum Hill Cemetery. Kelly Earl Griffith, 70, of Salina, died Wednesday, Jan. 7, 2015. He was born May 13, 1944, in Portland, Ore., to Earl Griffith and Colleen Chester Rowley.
A 26-year U.S. Navy veteran, he enjoyed playing video games and tinkering with computers. He excelled at darts and played competitively.
He is survived by his children, Stacy (Brad) Hoppock, William Kelly (Robyn) Griffith and David (Stacey Ramage) Griffith, all of Salina; brothers, Larry Griffith, of Salina, and Jeff Griffith, of Long Beach, Calif.; grandchildren, Charlie Winters, Brooke and Brigitte Begnoche and Owen Griffith; and one great-granddaughter, Aliyah Woodring.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Danny Griffith; and sister, Julie Moore.
Cremation has been chosen. Services will be held at a later date.

Nadine Delores Aleshire, 70, of Salina, passed away Jan. 4, 2015. Nadine was born Sept. 20, 1944.
Nadine loved cross-stitch, arts and crafts, science fiction, reading and her grandchildren.
She is survived by her son, Joel Aleshire; one brother, Walter Aleshire Jr; and her two grandchildren, Maya Aleshire and Cassandra Aleshire.
A memorial service will be held at 3 p.m. Friday, Jan. 16, at Emmanuel Foursquare Church, Salina, with Pastor Loren Houltberg officiating.

Lucy Eugenia Jankord, 89, daughter of Walter Saft and Lettie Gianoli Saft, died Friday, Jan. 9, 2015, in Grafton, surrounded by family.
Mrs. Jankord was born June 21, 1925, in Aberdeen, S.D. She graduated from Presentation School of Nursing in Aberdeen, in 1946. She was a part of the Cadet Nurse Corps, which trained 124,000 young women as nurses during World War II. In 1947, she married Aloysius D. Jankord.
After moving to Salina, Kan., Lucy worked as a registered nurse at St. John’s Hospital. In 1969, Dr. Frederick Gans invited her to join his pediatric practice as his RN and she continued with Dr. Edgar Rosales until her retirement in 1987.
Lucy and Al began a new adventure, spending nine summers in Yellowstone, working at the Fishing Bridge Store. They hiked the park’s many trails and met people from around the world.
She had a passion for dancing with Al, china painting, quilting, reading, sewing, knitting, travel and flower gardening. Her flowers often adorned St. Mary’s altar.
Lucy was preceded in death by her parents; husband Al, son, Thomas; and granddaughter, Laura Meyer.
She is survived by her children, Melinda Jankord-Steedman (John), of Seattle, Joan (Curtis) Schultz, of Grafton, Wis., Carol (Marvin) Meyer, of Wichita, Kan., Susan Jankord, of Salina, Camille (Ron) Harper, of Malvern, Ark., and Stephen (Elizabeth), of Manhattan, Kan.; daughter-in-law, Sheri Jankord, of Burrton, Kan., Patricia (Sue Ingersoll), of Renton, Wash., and Phyllis (Amy) Jantz, of Seattle, Wash. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m. with the rosary at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 15, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina. The funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 16, at St. Mary’s Queen of the Universe Church, Salina.
