Hilarius “Larry” Anton Weber, 93, died Friday, June 26, 2015. He was born on May 29, 1922 in Park, Kansas to Jakob and Rosa (Herrman) Weber.
He was proceeded in death by his wife, Mary (Boor) Weber, his son, Ronald Weber, his parents, his brothers, Bartholomew, Henry, Msgr John George, Anthony, Celestine, Martin, and Aloysius, and his sisters Philomena Christenson and Odilia Riedel.
He is survived by his daughters, Bernita Weber, Jeanette Weber, and Halaria Weber, his daughter-in-law, Judy Weber, his brother Sil (Eshter) Weber, his sisters, Magdalen Gassman and Marie Meier, 8 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Larry grew up in rural Western Kansas and spent his childhood among the wheat fields and cattle of his parent’s farm. He married Mary Boor on December 28, 1943 and farmed in Quinter, Kansas for several years before moving to Salina, Kansas in 1949. Larry and Marry owned and operated a small grocery store on North 9th Street for a number of years. Larry worked for Pepsi-Cola bottling plant as their maintenance foreman for over 25 years. He then moved on to be a construction foreman and traveled a great deal in that position.
Larry was a lifetime member of the Knights of Columbus and was very active in many aspects of the Sacred Heart Cathedral parish since his arrival in Salina.
Viewing is at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home on Wednesday July 1st from 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM with the Rosary being said at 7:00 PM on Wednesday, July 1st. Burial Mass will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, July 2nd at Sacred Heart Cathedral to be followed by burial at Mt. Calvary Cemetery. Lunch in the Bishop’s Hall at Sacred Heart Cathedral will follow the burial.

Stanford Russell Ardis, 78, of Salina, died Friday, June 26, 2015. He was born Oct. 12, 1936, in Pinewood, S.C., to Henry Russell and Mary Pearl (Files) Ardis.
He retired after 20 years of service in the U.S. Air Force, where he served as a maintenance mechanic and crew chief for B-52 bombers. He served in the Korean War and Vietnam War. He then worked for Philips Lighting and retired after 15 years of service. He was married to Eleanor Joann (Nitsch) Ardis for 58 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Steven Russell Ardis; and his wife, Eleanor Joan Ardis.
He is survived by three sons, Rick (Christy) Ardis, Brian K. Ardis and Christopher (Angela) Ardis, all of Salina; brother, Robert, and sister, Patricia, both of Sumter, S.C.; grandchildren, Derrick R., Alyssa P., Ashley, Lynn, Brandon, Brittany and Bridget; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at noon Thursday, July 2, at Ryan Mortuary, 137 N. Eighth, Salina, with Pastor Dave Henry officiating. Burial will be in Gypsum Hill Cemetery, Salina.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until noon Thursday at the mortuary.
The family suggests memorials to Holiday Resort, in care of the mortuary.

Delbert L. Johnson, 91, of Salina, passed away Sunday, June 28, 2015. He was born April 5, 1924, in Tablerock, Neb., to Ed and Meta Johnson.
He was a Salina resident for 33 years and a lifelong cattle rancher. He was employed by Jack and Jerry Vanier and family for 33 years. He was also a member of University United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother-in-law, Henry Rohrs; sister-in-law, Bonnie Johnson; and nephew, Brent Johnson.
Left to mourn his passing are his wife of 47 years, Betty Jo Johnson; sister, Darlene Rohrs, of Auburn, Neb.; brother, Gilbert John-son, of Humbult, Neb.; step-son, Kenneth Lee McKinney, of Howell, Mich.; step-grandson, Phillip (Becky) McKinney, of DeWitt, Mich.; stepgreat-grandchildren, Grace, Isiac, Isiah and Gide-on; nieces, Jackie (Steve) Kelsay and Patty Johnson; and nephews, David (Kandi) Rohrs and Randy (Cathi) Rohrs.
Visitation will be held at 3 p.m. and services will begin at 4 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2015, both at Ryan Mortuary.
Memorials may be made to Tammy Walker Cancer Center and are in care of Ryan Mortuary.

Hazel Marjorie Beggs, age 95, of Salina passed away Saturday, June 27, 2015. Hazel was born February 10, 1920 to Philip and Henrietta Moreen in Hedville, Kansas.
She was married to Robert Raymond Beggs. Hazel was a beautiful and loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She was a life long member of St. John’s Lutheran Church and a long time member of Chapter ED of the P.E.O. Sisterhood, both in Salina.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, two brothers and two sisters.
Hazel is survived by her three daughters, Tina (John) Willman, Becky (Dick) Hamill and Lisa (Russ) Norwood; five grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. She is also survived by her brother Tom Moreen of New York and her sister Betty (Harlan) Larsen of North Dakota.
Funeral Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Salina. Visitation will be one hour before service time at the church.
Memorials may be made to St. John’s Lutheran Church or The Samaritan Fund at Presbyterian Manor and sent in care of Ryan Mortuary.

Douglas A. Kiser, 57, Delphos, died Monday, June 29, 2015 at the Ottawa County Health Center, Minneapolis. He was born December 11, 1957 in Hays to Grant E. and Myrna J. (Brown) Kiser.
Doug was a 1976 graduate of Minneapolis High School and he worked for the Delphos CO-OP for many years. He was united in marriage with Rhonda Merry on August 29, 1981 in Delphos.
Doug was preceded in death by his father.
Survivors include his wife Rhonda; sons David Kiser and his wife Lisa and Brad Kiser; mother Myrna Kiser; sisters Lorri Scheibler and Stephanie Willett; and grandsons Daylan and Cade Kiser and a little one due in November.
Memorial services will be at 9:30 A.M., Friday, July 3 at the Delphos Presbyterian Church with Pastor Michele McHenry officiating. Burial will follow in the Delphos Cemetery. There will be no visitation. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the church or the Tammy Walker Cancer Center.
