Sydney Alice Jensen, 81, of Salina, passed away, Monday, Aug. 10, 2015, in Wichita. On March 22, 1934, she was born in Liverpool, England, to Harry and Ada (Hayes) Tregenza.
She met Earl Jensen in 1951 when he was stationed at Burtonwood Air Force Base in England. They were married on Octo. 18, 1952, in Liverpool, England, and last fall celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary.
Sydney was an excellent seamstress and was the owner and operator of “The Knit Shop” in Kraft Manor and “Family Alterations.” Previously she worked at Gibson’s in advertising. She had a passion for gardening and always had many beautiful flowers in her garden. She also collected Frederic Remington Western Bronzes. She was a lifetime volunteer at the Salina Community Theatre where she worked on costumes, stagecraft, and with her husband, Earl, who was the concessions manager. Sydney was a member of the Salina Community Theatre Guild and the British Wives Club on Schilling Air Force Base.
Survivors include her husband, Earl and daughter, Amy Jensen, both of Wichita; sisters, Phyllis Kelty, of Columbus, N.J., and Elaine “Poppy” Moreno, of Chester, England; brother, Phillip Tregenza, of Liverpoo; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and sisters, Aileen and Alma “Toddy” Tregenza.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 14, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina. Visitation will follow until 4 p.m.

Harold D. Tangye, 71, of Salina, passed away Saturday, Aug. 8, 2015. He was born June 20, 1944, in Salina to Willis F. And Myrtle A. (Phillips) Tangye.
He married Nancy Ann Bargman on June 7, 1970, in Smith Center.
Harold served in the United States Naval Corp from 1964-1968.
He was a member of the VFW #1432. He worked for the United States Postal Service as a postal clerk for 40 years. Harold enjoyed gardening, and being outdoors. He also loved spending time with his grandchildren.
Left to mourn his passing is his wife Nancy, of the home; children, Edward (Pamela) Tangye, of Salina, Christopher (Jennifer) Tangye, of Topeka, and April (Andy) McGee, of Salina; sister, Sylvia Gilmore, of Great Bend; grandchildren, Christian, Tyler and Macie Tangye, and Brandon, Brooke, Brent, Tayten, Phillip and Easton McGee; and mother-in-law, Phyllis Bargman.
He was preceded in death by his parents; stepfather, Thorton Sanders; and father-in-law, Frederick Bargman.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Aug. 14, at Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Matt Parnell officiating.

Gene D.(Geno) Krehbiel, 63, of McPherson, Kansas, passed away at 11:30 a.m., Wednesday, August 12th, 2015 at the Hutchinson Regional Medical Center, Hutchinson, Kansas due to an automobile accident.
Gene was born in McPherson, Kansas on December 22, 1951, son of Helen Mae (Goering) Krehbiel-Kaufman and Arnold Gene Krehbiel.
Gene attended Santa Fe Country School, McPherson Junior High, and graduated from McPherson High School, McPherson, Kansas. He attended one year at McPherson College, McPherson, Kansas.
Gene was a member of First United Methodist Church McPherson, Kansas. He was raised and baptized at the First Mennonite Church of McPherson and later in life, he was exploring the Mormon Religion.
Gene honorably served in the U.S. Navy during Vietnam War.
Through the years, Gene worked for Kit Manufacturing as an Assistant Production Manager and as Quality Control; he worked for Sterling Drug in the warehouse, Sterling Drug then became Sanofi Winthrop where Gene worked in the Shipping Warehouse, and then Sanofi became Abbott where he worked in Material Management; and worked for U.S.D. 418 Food Service until his disability. Most recently he has been tending to a fresh melon stand downtown.
Gene was a member of the Boys Scouts of America where he held many positions through the years and received many awards for his service. Gene enjoyed his time with the youth and adults of the Scouts and was known as “Skipper” to all his scouting friends. He also enjoyed Christmas each year and became Santa Clause for family and friends.
Gene D. Krehbiel was united in marriage to Brenda Jean Maxwell on June 5, 1976 at the First United Methodist Church, McPherson, Kansas. Brenda passed away on May 10, 1997.
Gene is survived by his children, Tory Krehbiel and his wife Becky, of McPherson, Kansas and Lisa Boyles and her husband Fransico Cabezas, of Port St. Lucie, Florida; his sister, Vickie Williams, of McPherson, Kansas; his four grandchildren, Conner Boyles, Alexa Boyles, Cloe Boyles, and Colton Cabezas; his nephews and niece, Kelly Williams and his wife Melinda, Kirk Williams and his wife Jamie, and Kim Cosner and her husband Ralph; other relatives and a host of friends.
Gene was preceded in death by his parents, Helen and Arnold Krehbiel; his wife Brenda Krehbiel; a brother-in-law, Richard Williams; and a niece Courtney Williams.
Friends are invited to call on Sunday, August 16, 2015 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Glidden – Ediger Chapel, McPherson, Kansas.
The funeral service will be held at (time), am or pm, on Monday, August 17, 2015 at the First United Methodist Church, McPherson, Kansas, with Reverend Karen Rice-Ratzlaff or Quinton officiating.
The final resting place will be at the McPherson Cemetery McPherson, Kansas.

June Mary “Bobby” Bundy, the daughter of John R. Shotzman and Mary (Lervold) Shotzman, was born April 23, 1925 at Scandia, KS and passed away on August 10, 2015 at the Overland Park Regional Medical Center, Overland Park, KS at the age of 90 years, 3 months, and 17 days.
She grew up in and attended the local public schools of Scandia, graduating from Scandia High School. On January 10, 1946, she was united in marriage to George R. Bundy III and to this union was born: Linda, John, Kathy, Sandy, and Cindy. The couple lived in Concordia, KS for several years and then moved to Salina, KS and he preceded her in death in 1984.
June was a nursing assistant at St. John’s Hospital, Salina, KS for 32 years, retiring in 1989. In recent years, she lived in Lenexa, KS.
June was a Girl Scout Leader and girls’ softball coach. She enjoyed bowling and square dancing. She also like to crochet, gardening, and animals.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, George; daughter Sandra Fern McClanahan; brothers: Faye, Ivan and Jean; sister, Fern; daughter-in-law, Mary Bundy and son-in-law, Gary E. Yardley.
June is survived by daughter, Linda E. Yardley of Gardner, KS; son, John Bundy of Desoto, KS; daughter, Kathryn (Gary) Peterson of Clarkridge, AR; and daughter, Cynthia (Randy) Oetting of Salina, KS; 9 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren, 8 step great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren; two nieces, one nephew, other relatives, and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, August 15, 2015 at the Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, Scandia, KS with Pastor Dwight Garman, officiating.
Interment will be at the Riverview Cemetery, Scandia, KS
Visitation will be from 10AM until 11AM on Saturday at the Bachelor-Surber Funeral Home, Scandia where the family will greet friends until service time.
