Linda Sue Nelson, 67, of Salina, went to be with God on Monday, March 25, 2013. She was born June 19, 1945, in Salina to Merlin and Lois Tinkler.
She is survived by her husband, Ralph Nelson; mother, Lois Larson; daughter, Kim (Todd) LeSage, of Raytown, Mo.; son, Larry (Tricia), of Marion; son, Wayne (Paula), of Kansas City, Mo.; sister, Bonnie Lindsay, of Protection; stepsister, Lois Bishop, of Jacksonville, Ark.; and eight grandchildren.
Our loving wife, mother, grandmother and daughter had a heart of gold and was a friend to so many, many people. She will be greatly missed.
Visitation will be from 1-8 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 5-7, today, March 27, at Ryan Mortuary.
Funeral services will held at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 28, at Mentor United Methodist Church, 616 E. Mentor Road, Mentor, with Pastor Linda Kosse-Wolfe officiating.
Burial will be in Gypsum City Cemetery, Gypsum.
The family suggests memorial contributions may be given to Mentor United Methodist Church, Mentor, in care of the mortuary.
