“The Bear” loved listening to jazz and dancing. It didn’t matter whether it was a jitterbug with Betty Jo, a square dance decked out in full western attire, or being crowned King of the Prom at Bentley Commons; he swept all the girls off their feet and onto the dance floor. He always had a pot of coffee brewing which he considered “Nectar of the Gods”. He enjoyed camping, bowling, and tennis until his sight was severely affected byMacular Degeneration. Family and friends will truly miss his smiling face and good nature.
Graveside services will be at 11:00 A.M., Thursday at Highland Cemetery, Minneapolis with military honors provided by the United States Navy.
