Robert Jack “Bob” Helm Jr., aka Mudflap, 33, of Salina, passed away Thursday, July 21, 2016. He was born Feb. 18, 1983, in Salina to Robert Sr. and Patty Helm.
Bob graduated in 2001 from Salina Central and Salina Vo-Tech. He mastered in the art of shenanigans!
His true passions in life were his love for his family and the great outdoors. Any day on the water was a good day with a pole in his hand. Bob was the guy who could make you laugh at the drop of a hat. He was your all-around go-to guy. His passion for life showed in everything he did and touched.
Bob was preceded in death by his beloved dog, Murphy; his Grandma and Pappy Helm; and his Grandma and Jack Bukowski.
He is survived by his parents; sister, Vicki (Ed) Dumas; nephew, Kaleb; nieces, Caitlynn and Kirsten Speilman; uncles, John (Sharon) Helm and Jack (Jan) Helm; and many, many cousins.
Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, July 26, at Ryan Mortuary, Salina.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, July 27, at Church of the Cross, 1600 Rush St., Salina. Burial will follow in Gypsum Hill Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Robert Jack Helm Jr. Memorial Fund at Farmers State Bank, 2074 E. Kansas Ave., McPherson 67460.

Joseph T. “Joe” Kroneberger, of Salina, passed away Friday, July 22, 2016, at home. He was born July 22, 1933, in Remsen, Iowa, to John and Margaret Kroneberger.
He spent his childhood in Brewster, Minn., graduating from high school in 1951. He attended college in Worthington, Minn. He joined the U.S. Air Force in 1952, and he was an airman 1st class stationed in Wichita during the Korean War.
In 1955, he married Sonja Bruenger who preceded him in death. They had six children: Jon (Pam), Michael (Janet), Bradley (Shanna), Jeffery (Sheryl), Patrick (Carla) and Karen.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 15 siblings; and one grandchild.
On July 19, 1980, he married Audrey Wolting.
He is survived by his wife, Audrey; six children; 17 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, Andrew (Joyce); and stepdaughter, Angela (Dan) Haag.
Visitation will be held from 4-8 p.m. Monday, July 25, at Ryan Mortuary, where family will receive friends from 6-8.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, at Trinity Lutheran Church, Salina. Burial will follow in Gypsum Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Gentiva Hospice in McPherson or Trinity Lutheran Church, in care of Ryan Mortuary.

Edith J. Howard, 92, of Beloit, passed away Saturday, July 23, 2016.
Visitation will be held from 4-7 p.m. Monday, July 25, at Schoen Funeral Home and Monuments, Beloit.
Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, at the funeral home. Interment to follow at Elmwood Cemetery.
